What is involved?
By engaging with the CPD Mark process, you can register on one of the university’s school based accreditation modules. You will receive guidance from tutors in the form of documentation and support via email, telephone and the VLE – no attendance at university is required. Most teachers chose to fulfil the assessment requirements by submitting a portfolio which contains evidence relating to the CPD Mark process, together with a reflection of its impact on their professional practice.
Am I eligible?
The following are required to access the MA programme:
However, if you cannot meet both criteria, you may still be eligible for the programme and are advised to contact the university administration team on 01257 517 126.
How much does it cost?
Teachers who register on the university's MA programme will be eligible to receive up to 60 'free' credits (the equivalent of 3 modules), as a result of the partnership between CPD Mark and Edge Hill. Therefore Accreditation towards the PGCE is free as 60 credits are required. Subsequent 20 credit modules will cost just £100 each (rather than £450) and the dissertation stage will cost just £300, as opposed to £1,350 for teachers who register independent of a partner. As a result of this initiative, it is now possible for teachers who register onto the MA programme via CPD Mark to attain an Master's for just £600.
